Engaging with Cost-Cutter, a renowned retail supermarket chain expanding from Ireland and Great Britain to Pakistan, presented us with an opportunity to enhance their operational efficiency. Facing challenges with managing MRP items, manual procurement processes, and handling multiple units of measurements and barcodes, our team devised tailored solutions. We customized SAP B1 to manage MRP items effectively, automated procurement with an order proposal report that triggers automatic purchase orders and vendor emails, and designed SQL queries to handle multiple UOMs and barcodes seamlessly. As a result, Cost-Cutter now benefits from accurate taxation, streamlined procurement, and increased flexibility in selling items in different units without disrupting inventory and pricing, reinforcing their commitment to convenience and competitive pricing for their customers.
