Delivery Basics came to Synavos as a pre-developed vendor-locked project with a lot of issues on the Front-End and Back-End. Because the project was vendor-locked and no proper documentation of the code and framework was used, adopting the project in its current form and developing new phases was impossible.
In the very initial stages of client onboarding, Synaovs suggested a complete code audit to fully understand the code and architect of the project. Our Code audit revealed significant issues related to the code, architecture, database layers, cloud server optimization, the existing and planned functionality. Many coding malpractices masked as bugs were also discovered.
In the project rescue of Delivery Basics & Pickup, the complete architecture of the product was revamped to make it responsive toward the client’s business goal. The newly revamped interfaces offer merchants features like store onboarding, product scanning, registration, order management and tracking, online payments, storefront customization, and periodic sales and profit reports and analytics.
Preventing client from having to spend a lot of capital on complete redevelopment, Synavos team adopted the same technologies and framework used in the pre-developed project and introduced new and advanced technologies to make the architecture of the product scalable for all future expansions and introduction of new facilities to the users.
